Re: [ACPI-sppt] <not supported> for /proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/performance

Both Intel and AMD use a set of command similar to Longrun that
Transmate Crusoe uses. As far as I know you need to enable those
extensions in the kernel to be able to scale yuor CPU frequency ands
such like. 

While the ACPI patches might report things correctly, I doubt that any
of the frequency/performance scaling in fact works under 2.4.xx. I could
be wrong tho...
