Hello all, I'm running kernel 2.5.73-vanilla on my laptop (Asus L1400B) with all common ACPI-features copiled staticly into the kernel. Most things work well, except for I don't have a /proc/acpi/sleep-file, and couldn't find anything equivalent in /sys. Reading through dmesg, all seems to boot up fine. The documentation on the homepage doesn't mention anything of when the file might not be there, and while searching I only found one other unsolved appearance of that problem on the debian-laptop-list, also with 2.5.x-kernel. Finally, I don't know what to try any further, so I'm kindly asking you for help. :) If you need any more data, I'll provide it asap. bye, Darko Obradovic
