[ACPI-sppt] Battery and ACPI-OpenGL conflict on Dell Inspiron 5100

Hello,

I installed SuSE 8.2 on my new Dell Inspiron 5100. I can read ac status and
temperature, but my /proc/acpi/battery directory is empty. But, what's worse,
when ACPI is enabled and acpid started during boottime, my X server can't
start if I enable OpenGL support for my ATI Radeon card. I also have to
decrease my horizontal frequency - very very strange and bad, because I need
OpenGL. This is not problem when I start APM, but APM is obviously useless
with this notebook. Is this small problem or something complicated? I
couldn't find anything similar on ACPI site.

I included relevant parts of my /proc/cmdline, Kernel parameters
(linux-2.4.20.SuSE - defaults), lsmod and /var/log/boot.msg. ACPI that came
with SuSE is acpid-1.0.1-70.

Thanks a lot in advance. Nikola
