I heard that before. Even something as simple as a different memory config seems to make a difference to the DSDT, so I'm kinda wondering if it actually makes sens to keep the corrected DSDTs on the ACPI page instead of patches...


I guess, the easiest thing you can do is: make a diff between the original DSDT by Michael Arlt and his corrected one and apply it to your own one.

Or, if you don't have his original, just make a diff between your original DSDT and his new one and then take out the parts that don't seem to be meaningful or corrective.

Anyway, you'll have to work on your DSDT by hand.
