Hello, I've an ASUS M3410C (M3N family), I'm trying to solve the ACPI problems (which are very similar to the M2N ones), but I've something to add... I think it's a problem due to the DSDT which isn't perfect. In my case, if I remove the GPE section (as from http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=2693584&forum_id=7803, the 2nd mail) the boot up doesn't freeze and the fan turns on but I don't have any downgrade in processor's performances.
