[ACPI-sppt] Why my battery support is so strange?

Hi all,

I've recently tried to compile the new 2.4.21 kernel with acpi patch
corresponding and i was surprise to see that my battery status don't
show anything about charge. It's really strange because my previous
2.4.20 kernel with acpi patch corresponding work perfectly...

A friend of mine suggest me to try 2.4.21 kernel with patch.2.4.22-pre7
because it include new support for ACPI...i suppose acpi.sf.net had
working on? btw this method don't work at all and i've the same problem
with native 2.4.21...

In all configuration i include all acpi features in kernel, no modules.

I would like to get your suggestions, can i get battery support without
compiling a previous kernel version(2.4.20)?

ps: My laptop is an ASUS L3800S with Debian Sarge.
ps2: with 2.4.21 kernel patched with patch.2.4.22-pre7 i get these info
