I've a ASUS M2400N and experience the same problems. Luca Capello said (in the 
ACPI and Asus M2N thread) that he thinks this has to do with the notebook/CPU 
temperature. Obviously the dsdt isn't perfect....

Anyway, how did you get the 2.6 kernel to use your dsdt? Are there any patches 
to applay (like the patched osl.c in kernel 2.4)?
