I should have been more clear.  Yes, swsusp is suspend to disk, and that
is working fine, it is saving the image to disk and completely powering
off and then resuming properly.  Right now I'm trying to make suspend to
RAM work with much difficulty.  Do you know if suspend to ram will work on
an ACPI machine with a different kernel, and if so which kernel?
