[ACPI-sppt] lid question

Hi,
I was wondering how to make an entry in /etc/acpi/events/default file in 
order to make lid open/close work. I have a request and a question

Can someone send me working /etc/acpi/events/default with lid event/action.

What I did is
event=button/lid/C1A4
action=/etc/acpi/gotosleep

since on my Compaq EvoN600c I have this entry /proc/acpi/button/lib/C1A4
and I made a /etc/acpi/gotosleep with echo 1 > /proc/acpi/sleep

Restarting acpid daemon and closing a lid nothing happens, I still have
running system. Although I look at /var/log/messages and see the following:
ACPI group button/lid / action C1A4 is not defined

My question is does it mean that I don't have support for the lid events?
