Been upgrading my kernel since last year using the kernel patches and completely forgot that ACPI was a separate patch...plus I needed a newer version of ACPI since the old from last year kept locking my Dell i2600. First applied the v2.4.21 patch (20030619) to a previously ACPI patched kernel. The options in menuconfig disappeared. No good. Then I applied 20030619 to a fresh 2.4.21 kernel. Same problem. Then I applied 20030730 to a fresh 2.4.22-pre8 kernel. I saw the new option for half support, enabled full support, picked my options and compiled. Wrong. Now I'm getting the following errors when creating 'vmlinux': arch/i386/kernel/kernel.o(.text.init+0x3e90): In function 'force_apic': : undefined reference to 'enable_apic_up' arch/i386/kernel/kernel.o(.text.init+0x3e97): In function 'force_apic': : undefined reference to 'skip_ioapic_setup' Any ideas?
