Hi everybody ! Got some problems (questions ?) on my laptop : 1) Trying to have something like a standby function, but I don't find how to do it (basically the same as apm -s but without the bugs), and I even don't know if this is possible ? 2) I haven't find how to get out of the suspend mode ( echo 1 > /proc/acpi/sleep) ? What I've done : compile a 2.4.21 kernel with the patch from sf dated 2003-06-19. What I get : I see my battery, all seems ok with the fans, CPU temperature ... I have "S0 S1 S3 S4 S4Bios S5" in /proc/acpi/sleep, and I obtain with the "echo x > /proc/acpi/sleep" : 1 : suspend (ok, haven't find how to get out, but in suspend mode) 2 and 3 : nothing (ok, isn't supported yet) 4 : my laptop crashes 4Bios : a screen from saying that I don't have a suspend partition .... ok but How to create it ? 5 : hard reboot ! (not a soft one as it should be ....) Thanks for the answers ! Jérémy -- ------ Vive le libre, et vive knoppix !
