Me too... (and as u know I've an ASUS M3N, another Centrino laptop)

IMHO the problem is not ACPI itself, but the DSDT, again...

I think all ASUS Centrino components but WiFi r supported by Linux, so
if u don't need WiFi u can not use Windows, but ATM I can't, as I've a
WiFi ADSL router at home :-( I hope Intel will release Centrino WiFi
Linux drivers ASAP...

I tried ur trick, Mads, but it doesn't work for me. What I'm doing is:
- shutting down Windows
- waiting at least 5 minutes
- booting on Linux
and all goes well.

Another striking thing is that there's another bug related to booting
Linux after Windows: in fact, if u've an USB ADSL modem based on
GlobeSpan chip, u need to unplug the modem when booting on Linux after
Windows, if not it doesn't work. I tried it by myself, as I had a D-Link
DSL-200 (other info at http://eciadsl.flashtux.org)

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca

PS Mads, have u successfully installed and used the internal modem?
Because I can install it w/ the PCTel drivers
(http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pctel-linux/, mapped to /dev/ttyS15),
but I can't get it working. Oli has the same problem as me :-(
