But this is just a guess. I tried ur trick, Mads, but it doesn't work for me. What I'm doing is: - shutting down Windows - waiting at least 5 minutes - booting on Linux and all goes well. Another striking thing is that there's another bug related to booting Linux after Windows: in fact, if u've an USB ADSL modem based on GlobeSpan chip, u need to unplug the modem when booting on Linux after Windows, if not it doesn't work. I tried it by myself, as I had a D-Link DSL-200 (other info at http://eciadsl.flashtux.org) Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca PS Mads, have u successfully installed and used the internal modem? Because I can install it w/ the PCTel drivers (http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pctel-linux/, mapped to /dev/ttyS15), but I can't get it working.
