I modified the DSDT to completely turn off automatic fan control and
added methods for getting/setting the fan speed, and modified the
acpi4asus kernel module to include a file "fan" for setting the speed
manually. I can send you the patches if you're interested.

What program did you use to find those values? I tried ASUS-Probe (or
similar), but that only seems to show the temperature.
