Re: [ACPI-sppt] ACPI not writing to /proc/acpi/event

I think something is missing from those directions.  You should see a
dsdt file in your /proc/acpi/ directory now.  You can use that one for
starters.  Its supposed to be good.  What you see in the database are
the fixes from people who have found their default dsdt to not be good. 
I think most people are finding errors, but that may not mean it wont
work anyway.
