That's because of the "Local APIC".

That's because IndexField access is still broken since the patch
didn't apply.

Strange. It applies cleanly against a 20030916-patched 2.4.22 here...
There's not more than 2 hunks there that could fail. Since I don't
have the ACPI-patch against 2.4.21 here, I can't test that at the
moment. sourceforge appears to be down for maintenance.

Once the patch applies, you shouldn't need to fix your DSDT.
