Hello, I have a multihomed gateway machine that also acts as a router. Every once in a while I get the message host xx.xx.xx.xx/ifx ignores redirects for xx.xx.xx.xx to xx.xx.xx.xx on the screen and in the log files. I did a Google search and really didn't find much as to: why its happening? how to make it stop? is something configured wrong? Here are the kernel configurations net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1 net.ipv4.tcp_syncookies = 1 net.ipv4.ip_always_defrag = 1 net.ipv4.icmp_echo_ignore_broadcasts = 1 net.ipv4.icmp_ignore_bogus_error_responses = 1 net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter = 1 net.ipv4.conf.all.accept_redirects = 0 net.ipv4.conf.all.send_redirects = 0 net.ipv4.conf.all.accept_source_route = 0 net.ipv4.conf.all.log_martians = 1 If there is any other info I can provide please feel free to ask. Thanks, Danny L.
