UPDATE: SAMBA 3.0 and Windows XP problem

The Windows XP is a Windows XP professional.  Windows XP home does NOT
have the ability to join domains.  And what I'm most interested in is
joining a domain, for which I already have configured the machine
account both in /etc/passwd and smbpasswd as well.
