Mozilla/application/x-java-vm problem

Good Morning, I'm new to troubleshooting Java. I have a Fedora2 PC and when I attempt to load a web page I get the following error message: This page contains information of a type (application/x-java-vm) that can only be viewed with the appropriate plugin. Running Mozilla 1.6 with Java enabled. I've been to http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/java.html but I don't know what to do to solve this. Any help will be appreciated.
