SUMMARY: Seagate disk drivers for FC2 (2.6.6 kernel)

Hello -

It turns out that the VAR had connected the OS disk into the 3ware RAID
card (we thought that we'd asked for it to be connected directly to the
motherboard).  Once we rewired it, the system found the Seagate drive
(and then we could load the 3w-9xxx driver for the 3ware card).  OTOH 
the drive hadn't survived shipping, so that added additional complexity
to the issue.

Thanks also to Brad Groat for his suggestion (unrelated to the solution).
