Description of Problem: After installing today's dockyard (20-Jan-2003) I ran
mission-control to configure and start the network interface "eth0" as a DHCP
client. I went through all the steps necessary and the arrow-with-watch cursor
was active for 10 minutes, at least until I killed mission control.
I started the NIC with "ifup eth0" and it worked (although I did see some error
messages from an ntp script, if I can re-create them I'll file another bug).
It's just the apparent hang that concerns this defect report.

How Reproducible: 100% (always)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install and reboot as required
2. Bring up mission control, configure eth0 as DHCP client
Actual Results: Apparent hang due to arrow-with-watch cursor lingering.
Additional Information: David Sainty probably knows enough to fill in whatever
gaps I have left in this report.
