OS/Version: All
Status: NEW

Description of Problem:
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):dockyard kernels
2.4.23-0.rc3.1ark and 2.4.23-0.rc5.1ark
How Reproducible:boot with abovementioned kernel when the sound server sound
I/O method is Autodetect
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results: noise during kde startup sound
Expected Results: kde startup sound
Additional Information:
Kernels 2.4.23-0.rc3.1ark and 2.4.23-0.rc5.1ark have sound problems when the
sound server sound I/O method is Autodetect, but they (2.4.23-0.rc3.1ark and
2.4.23-0.rc5.1ark) seem to work OK when the sound I/O method is set to ALSA.
Kernel 2.4.23-0.rc1.1ark works ok when the sound I/O method is Autodetect.
Sound chip is OPL3-SA3B (ISA) and alsa is used in modules.conf (snd-opl3sa2).
As Arklinux did not detect that card I just did copy-paste from
www.alsa-project.org for my chipset.
