Description of Problem:

Ever since I upgraded to KDE 3.2 KDE programs have failed to display any fixed
bitmap fonts, only truetype fonts!  seems to be the reverse of the normal
problem of displaying only bitmap fonts,  i partially solved this by making my
default fonts in KDE truetype, but rendering in such programs as konqueror and
konsole and krusader is spotty as they still require the fixed font.  I then
tried disabling all non true type fonts in the KDE font program as
root/administrator, and that fixed konqueror and krusader and konsole perfectly,
however upon exiting that session kdm failed with a "cannot find fixed font"
error, forcing me to rename by hand all the disabled font directories (what kde
does is change the directory of say, speedo to .speedo, making it invisible)

this problem only seems to effect kde programs.  if anyone has any insight into
how to fix it id be pleased to know, as i hate using firebird or mozilla
(konqueror rules, but since i cant see any bitmap fonts its not usable)
