https://bugzilla.arklinux.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=313 [email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |NOTABUG ------- Additional Comments From [email protected] 2004-02-24 18:40 ------- Arklinux's current installer does not support a complex setup and division of drives. If you had read the mailing list, you would know that we are developing a new installer at this time. While installing arklinux is possible on a compllex drive setup it is nothing more then a headache. Please read the minimum requirements and the mailing list. This is not a bug, it is the fualt of our developers for trying to make things to easy. Arklinux is designed to use the unused space on the largest drive it finds. You cannot simply setup partitions and expect arklinux's installer to use them. It was built to make its own partitions upon installation. I would suggest that you resize the partition that you want to use and use the express install method so that arklinux will use hte unpartitioned space. Again please ensure that you are using at least Alpha 10.1 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
