To my knowledge this is not our bug, although i could be mistaken. We have told 
the xmms developers about it, but there isnt much we can do. In fact we are 
droping gtk 1 support so anythihng that dosnt work on gtk 2 will also be dropped 
and unsupported which currently includes xmms.
