The following bug has been ASSIGNED. ====================================================================== http://www.arklinux.org/mantis/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0000002 ====================================================================== Reported By: Lautlos Assigned To: Admin ====================================================================== Project: ArkLinux Bug ID: 2 Category: Useability Reproducibility: have not tried Severity: minor Priority: normal Status: assigned Component: Starting Skript. Component Version: The version of the above trouble maker ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 02-01-2005 16:42 CST Last Modified: 02-03-2005 23:36 CST ====================================================================== Summary: mozilla-thunderbird Description: Installed Thunderbird, can't start it: :> mozilla-thunderbird :> run-mozilla.sh: Cannot execute /usr/lib/mozilla-thunderbird-1.0/mozilla-thunderbird-bin. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Admin - 02-01-2005 17:28 CST ---------------------------------------------------------------------- hmm, check to make sure that you have build 5ark. I thought I fixed this in that build. I hope that helps. If it dosn't. Then please let me know, so I can investigate it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lautlos - 02-02-2005 04:30 CST ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I used an image, that bero provided me with on sunday (30.1.05) and updated the distro yesterday... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Admin - 02-02-2005 12:56 CST ---------------------------------------------------------------------- hmm, try this for me. Uninstall thunderbird, then check and remove any links that have thunderbird in them, in /usr/bin, I have a feeling that some how you still got ahold of one of the broken builds. That was an error that I did address, however if it persist Ill try downloading it and installing it from the repo again and check to insure that the error is gone in the package. Its possible the image bero gave you was not upto date and even an update would not fix the problem, since I don't check to see if there is a link already, So I should probably should do something about that in the future, but hopefully that does the trick. Just totally uninstall thunder bird and then make sure there are no links or files in /usr/bin that say mozilla-thunder bird. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lautlos - 02-02-2005 14:52 CST ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Did all you asked me, didn't change anything. After deinstallation, there is no link left. The build was indeed a new one, I looked over bero's shoulder while he was compiling it...
