Sorry to hear that, but If most users would do like I do and take the time 
to research things, and discuss it with the developers in the irc channel, 
you would not have had this problem. As I was fully informed, going into 
the install of this ALPHA state product.:p

I had planned to unplug my other hard drives anyway, I dont get why people 
back things up to another drive before a new installation and leave the 
other drive availible for corruption during an install anyway. Not to 
mention I have a copy on here and a copy on another system, which is 
actually the proper way to back up a system. Not to rag on anyone.

However yes there is a new installer in the works. Most people who move to 
arklinux are sick of windows and its problems so when you click system 
install, all that is gone, i for one didnt care.
