What soundchip are you using? I'm not having any issues here w/ ALC650, 
VIA8233, VIA CMI8738 and ALi M5451...
Also, are you using rc4.1ark or rc4.2ark? rc4.1ark had an issue with any 
driver that uses sched_setscheduler() [inherited from the -rc4-mm1 patch] 
that I fixed in rc4.2ark; it's possible that your sound driver does that (I 
noticed it only in the dvb-cn878 driver).
