Ok I tried mounting the drives with the command mount -t iso9660 
/dev/<device> /mnt/cdrom1 after creating the folder /mnt/cdrom, in place 
of <device> I tried using the following with absolutely no luck: scd0, 
scd1, sda0, cdrom, hdb. My DVD-RW drive which is the hooked up as the 
master device on the second IDE cable is an LG GSA-4120B and my CD-RW 
drive which is hooked as the slave device on the second IDE cable is a 
Plextor PX2410A, my motherboard is an ASUS P4P8X.
