I've tried uploading the rpm and I finally got it to work using openssh
in Windows, I'm not sure why I couldn't upload it from Linux but that
was probably an odd quirk of maybe I was just doing it wrong.

Anyway I tried to run build [contrib] tkgate-1.8.5-1ark.src.rpm and that
wouldn't work so I left out the "[contrib]" part and it seemed to work.
Now I'm not sure that was the right way to do it but since it wouldn't
work before I figured the [contrib] part since it was between square
brackets was probably not supposed to be there. Hopefully I didn't mess
anything up, if I did send me a bill, I haven't seen anything in the
build mailing list so chances are nothing has happened yet.

BTW. That whole makefile thing that Gary patched is a little new to me,
if anyone could give me some idea of how a .patch file works and how its
applied I'd appreciate that, as far as I can tell it looks like a file
generated by the program used to compare files (diff I think) but I'm
not sure how to make one or what to do to apply it.

I'm still trying to get some practice so if anyone has a package they
would recommend I try to make I'd be more then happy to hear it, I'm a
little disappointed that inkscape isn't in the rpm repositories, I'm
much more comfortable with it then I am with sodipodi which I find has a
terrible user interface so I may try to build that unless there is some
reason I shouldn't?
