In the morning of Friday this week, while attempting
to install the Ark Linux 2005.1 SR 1.iso from a burned
CD, I received a rather unwelcome notification
revealing that no installation could be carried out
due to the following, and I directly quote from the
pop-up itself:

"Your Ark Linux H20 (1.0-dockyard20050803)
dockyard20050803 installation has failed because of
the following error(s):

Please report this to [email protected]"

However, I must make known to you that this particular
iso which failed in process of installation was
downloaded directly from the Ark Linux website, not
from any mirror.

Furthermore, I find it strange that, while the mirrors
whom I've also tried (but, alas, to no avail) were
updated as recently as August 3, your md5sum section
listed the md5sum(s) from as recently as June 7.
Unfortunately, while I cannot complain about the
mirrors or their content (as they are independent from
your jurisdiction), I am certain that I can note the
discrepancies with the .iso's of the most fundamental
software of your distribution.

Is there any way that such can be rectified? Such
would be most definately appreciated, especially if
whatever advice you may provide will help me in the
installation of Arklinux, and, in a way, completing my
transition from Windows to Linux.

Thank You,

Harry Underwood, 18, HP Pavilion a317x end-user,
currently using the (K)Ubuntu distribution, Warner
Robins, Ga., USA
