Dockyard installer datestatmp 1/18

Dock yard 1-18 boots fine but wont finish the install.  Here are the 
last couple of lines.

The machine is a Dell latitude c600 with a 14 gig hd and 512 megs of ram

failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k  char-major-4,errno=2
