Group Policy for Linux

Hi,
is there anything like Group Policy for Linux?
For thos who don't know what Group Policy is, it's a way to control one 
to many computers which belong to the same "group". You can assign 
security options, programs, startup/logon/logout/shutdown scripts and 
even smallest things like homepage URL. I believe that this can be done 
with scripts but is there a GUI or something for it?
