Hello everyone. Whenever my computer goes into starting X, it runs into some errors. Here's some of the errors from /var/log/Xorg.0.log: ---- Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc:unscaled, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi:unscaled, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi:unscaled, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1, removing from list! Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo, removing from list! Fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed' ---- Now, I know I have all of the proper fonts installed, and I know they're in those paths listed above, but X still won't start properly. If anyone's curious, here's a snippet of the graphics card section from my /etc/X11/xorgconf file: ---- Section "Device" Identifier "NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX (generic)" Driver "nv" VendorName "nVidia Corporation" BoardName "NV11 [GeForce2 MX/MX 400]" EndSection ---- Thanks for any help. ---------- Jason A.
