Re: installation fears

As Luke pointed out, the current installer takes a simplistic approach 
to HD partitioning.  System install takes over your entire 'system'.  
Express will find any unpartitioned space on your attached hard disks, 
and install to that.  Future installers will provide an 'advanced' mode 
which will allow you to choose the install partition, and whether or not 
you'd like to format it. (and possibly, choose which FS type you'd like 
it to use).

BTW, any NEW installs should use the ISO located in dockyard-devel
ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/disributions/arklinux/dockyard-devel/iso/arklinux.iso  
otherwise you'll not be able to upgrade without using our 
soon-to-be-released upgrade ISO.
