Installing new Linux

Hi, System Info: Asus A8N-VM CSM AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2 * Kingston 1Gb PC3200 ECC 3 * Seagate 320Gb SATA-2 Adaptec 2904 PCI + HP SureStore DAT24 Issue: I would like to install SuSE 10.1 on the NVRAID environment with RAID-5. However, during setup I get the message that my disks are part of software raid etc. Question: How do I go about and install Linux? Obviously I need a running system to actually use dmraid, so I'm unsure where to go from here. There's no OS on the system at this point. Also, I've been messing about with Linux Software RAID, but LILO won't boot my system (as root is /dev/md0). I'm currently using the BootDVD to boot my system (ouch)... Hope someone can give me some guidelines to continue :) Cheers, Rory
