Gotta start somewhere. Just know that I don't plan including a 2.2
kernel in Aurora anytime soon, so your ultimate goal (IMHO) should be to
work towards fixing it in 2.4 (and eventually, 2.6).

As far as a kernel test package, I highly recommend stress-kernel:

Also, if you get bored, having a digital copy of that HyperSPARC manual
would be invaluable. I know its a bit tedious to scan that many pages,
but it will allow others to help you.
