FWIW, I've now got 2.4.21pre6 running on there, enabled DMA with hdparm, and haven't gotten any lost interrupt errors yet even after heavy disk I/O.... The message: SABRE0: Uncorrectable Error, primary error type[DMA Write:Translation Error] (and then subsequent I/O MMU errors) during boot are a little disconcerting, but they don't seem to matter. later, chris
