I never quite understood that particular piece of advise - the CD-ROM
drives I've seen in U5/U10 so far were all sufficiently modern to deal
with CD-Rs, even when burned at higher speeds. I even had one of those
drives in a PC for a while and it read whatever I threw at it. Shouldn't
any potential problem with fast-burned CD-Rs be entirely related to the
drive that's present in the Sparc? I mean, the old drives, like they
were e.g. found in the SS20, I can easily understand if they don't take
higher than 4x - but my U60 has an UltraPlex 40x, so why should it have
any problems? Or am I missing something here?
