I've never tried it with Oracle, so apologies if it turns out to be a
useless suggestion ;-).  Could you run DBI::ProxyServer on the Oracle
database host, which obviously will have all the libraries needed for
DBD::Oracle and then connect from the Aurora machine using DBD::Proxy ?
