2.98 nfs install errors on U60

While attempting an NFS install of 2.98 on my U60 I am hitting a few
errors:

    - The installer defaults to enabling IPv6, but then segfaults
immediately after DHCP lease is acquired. Errors on the console
indicate "address type 0 not supported by eth0" (or something to that
effect; I can get the exact error if it's useful) immediately before the
segfault.

    - If I disable IPv6, the NFS path is successfully mounted, but
communications with the server are not reliable. Console errors:
nfs: server <foo> not repsonding, still trying
        nfs: server <foo> OK
...repeat over and over again. If I'm very patient, after about 10
minutes it loads a bunch of kernel modules and attempts to launch
anaconda. After that, nothing except a slowly repeating stream of the
above NFS errors. I've tried 2 different NFS servers (SuSE-ancient, and
Centos4.4), both of which survive copying GB of data to other clients,
so I don't think the server is at fault here.

I'll try http install next to see if there is a networking problem in
general.
