I experienced the same thing (except for the bad CD part). I tried the most recent version of Aurora Linux (2.98?) on a Sun Ultra 30 and the performance was terrible. So poor in fact that I had to wipe it out and go back to Aurora 1.0. The latter performs much better (fast and more stable) than 2.98. I may give Aurora 2.98 another try after it is officially released. Juan Bruce Ferrell wrote: > I just installed Aurora 2.0 to my Ultra 1 with 256M with only a false > start for badly burned CD.
