Hello, I've just installed aurora 2.99 (net install and boot from disk 1) on my ultra5 (CPU: 400Mhz - RAM: 1G) and so far no issue... :-) ...a part from the old 20G HD --> really slow!!! So I'm going to remove all the ide devices (disk + cdrom) and use external scsi drives (adapter X1032A so I can boot from it) so I'm just wondering how can I remove the case fan? If I unplugged it the box doesn't power... should I put a resistor between the red and black? The cpu is not really hot at all, I've put my finger on the radiator and nothing... Do you think I can remove as well the fan from the PSU? I'm just wondering if I can have a fanless solution or maybe add a 120mm fan (5V or 7V) to the top of the case which can replace the existent case/PSU fans. Are we going to have all the updates from fedora 6? What's the issue to get the fedora community/group to release directly for sparc64? so far they support x86, x86_64 and ppc. ...maybe for fedora 9...
