I do not have sufficient network bandwidth to do a 'yum update' & that poor lil'LX just doesn't have enough ummpphhh to get out of it's own way . That said , I can put all of the 2.99 (of 29-Aug) in a directory just as Charles suggested from which I was able to get 2.0 installed from . Or even nfs share the whole bloody DVD . Either way would work for making the rpm's available . But how do I do a yum/??? update from a local source ? As far as I can tell the 2.99 dvd iso is not yummified .
