.version yields:
Release 3.19 Version 4
OBP 3.19.4
POST 3.0.7

There's certainly not 3.31!  I'm not really sure that it's a firmware
problem, since I believe the drive currently in the computer was the
one that came with it... but it would be worth a try anyway.  I'm
willing to try anything.  What do I need to do to upgrade the
firmware?
