bug#333: Framebuffer needs 1600x1200 resolution option on boot

Dear LNX-BBC,

I recently joined the FSF, and am delighted with the bootable CD. But, 
It's extremely hard to use on my laptop (which has a 1600x1200 LCD), and 
  looks ghastly in any other resolution. LCD screens simply don't work 
properly at the non-native resolution. So, please can we have an option 
to boot into 1600x1200 mode at the boot prompt.

P.S. I think it is version 1.6.18 - at any rate, it's the current FSF 
membership card. I can't check without shutting down my machine - 
perhaps the version number ought to be in the lnxbbc.htm file?
