Package: gcc When GCC is built, it takes certain header files from /usr/include which it deems "system headers", processes them with some fancy sed and awk gubbins, and stick them in its private include dir which ends up in $(build_prefix). Even though it is not strictly necessary on GNU/Linux systems, it includes curses.h in this set of headers because on some systems which GCC supports, it is a system header. The presence of the munged curses.h makes subsequent ncurses builds fail. -- --< ((\))< >----< [email protected] >----< http://www.movealong.org/ >-- The general miseducation of the population of the United States has led to a reassertion of simple platitudes as political discourse. pub 1024D/05A058E0 2002-03-07 Nate Riffe (06-Mar-2002) <[email protected]> Key fingerprint = 0DAC F5CB D182 3165 D757 C466 CD42 12A8 05A0 58E0
