bug#377: hostap is not happy

Package: hostap

Incorporating hostap in a recent HEAD build proved problematic.
When inserting a standard PrismII card (manfid 0x0156) the console
messages produced the text:

  hostap_cs: CardServices release does not match!

I turned on syslog, the errors shown were this:
