Stable should build, but you need to tell cvs that's the tag you want to pull down. And that's -should build- for a debian/woody environment; the build seems to be touchy about glibc versions and mild things like ldconfig being on the path (hint, add /sbin to path before starting). if your Mandrake kit has glibc 2.3 then stable can't work for you. (That's the crux of the message at versions.html) If you're willing to poke around and experiment a little with it, welcome aboard - we're not all dark arcanum experts either. . | .
