All GAR packages in the lnx-bbc tree now fetch at least semi-cleanly without the use of any garchives. Some packages have been upgraded due to the lack of any upstream source, and net/becker-ethernet-tools is basically disabled for now. I have added a couple of new variables -- MIRROR_SITES and GARCHIVE_SITES -- which are used in the fetching of objects. The purpose here is to better distinguish the various entries in what used to be a single comprehensive MASTER_SITES. Under the new schema, MASTER_SITES will be the official upstream distributors of the object, MIRROR_SITES will be third party mirrors of the upstream distributors, both of which should be set (as applicable) in the Makefile for each package. GARCHIVE_SITES will contain URLs for garchives, and is conditionally set in gar.conf.mk. Package Makefiles should not add to it. -Nate -- --< ((\))< >----< [email protected] >----< http://www.movealong.org/ >-- "There are four boxes to use in the defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo.
