Hi, I'm checking out LNX-BBC... I booted the CD and it asked for a number 1-5 for the FB resolution. At the boot: line, I typed boot: 2 It said that I "passed an invalid number" (or something like that). Then it offered me a choice of text screen dimensions, like 80x24. I could boot using one of these text modes, but startx then failed. I rerebooted a few times, trying different 1,2,3,4,5 numbers, always got the same error. Am I doing this right? I have a 1-year-old Compaq, usually running Windows XP. Don't know the video chipset. Thanks. -- -- Doug McCasland Healdsburg, California <[email protected]> Looking for low-cost Internet?
